Your anti-consensus point is the one that stuck with me. AI writing converges on the average of everything it's seen, which is the opposite of having a take. I've started flipping the workflow. I write the draft myself, then ask AI to argue against it, so the thinking stays mine.
The em dash broke my brain. It didn't make sense. I reserved judgment and was given grace a few sentences later. Thank you. For that, and for the inspiring bar to reach for.

I didn't even have "em dash" in my vocab until I met Claude and found the uncanny and convenient valley of AI Slop. To think humans actually rendered such stylistic punctuation on purpose in ancient times! Drove me just now to learn that "Windows Key + Shift + - " does it. — Woot!
“Writing is thinking”. Truer words have never been said. And how you think comes through in each word you place down. When I hire a creative, it’s because of how they look at the world, how they think, how they ideas, and how unique and inspiring it can be. That’s writing, crystallized.

Asking AI to write something that sounds like you did is at best the same as hearing your voice recorded and played back to you (I.e. horrible).
