The em dash broke my brain. It didn't make sense. I reserved judgment and was given grace a few sentences later. Thank you. For that, and for the inspiring bar to reach for.
I had to add that in after to make sure I had one ... I do generally steadfastly refuse to abandon the em dash, which I appreciated before AI and will continue to use.
I didn't even have "em dash" in my vocab until I met Claude and found the uncanny and convenient valley of AI Slop. To think humans actually rendered such stylistic punctuation on purpose in ancient times! Drove me just now to learn that "Windows Key + Shift + - " does it. — Woot!
